Nettleton Head Boys Basketball Coach Steps Down

After 6 seasons as Nettleton High Schools head basketball coach, Aaron Deaton steps down after being a part of Nettleton’s basketball program for 19 years. Deaton’s reasons for stepping down come after a series of health issues in December of 2023. 

After Deaton’s health issues became of concern, a decision to step down in the 2023 - 2024 season was made, then to return for the 2024 - 2025 season.

Deaton will stay with the Nettleton School District as an assistant principal for Fox Meadow School of Creative Media.
