Battle for the Arkansas 4A-3 takes place in Brookland, Arkansas at Roof Raider Field.

The 6-1 Brookland lady Bearcats take on the 5-1 Westside lady Warriors at home after a tough 6-1 loss to the Warriors two weeks prior.

Opening pitch from Brookland's #13, Aspen Heckethorn leads to single from Westside's #11, Vada Watkins off of an error. Kimber Wynn steps up to the plate and hits a dime to deep left field on a 2-2 count. Westside takes their first out of the game. Big plays continue in the first inning when McKyna Craig sends the ball to the 2nd base position which results in a double play by the Bearcats to retire the top of the 1st inning. The excitement for the Bearcats continues as Briana Patterson steps up with a play to right field to get the first run of the game putting the Bearcats up 1-0.

Westside ties the game in the 4th inning when Mattyx Cureton makes contact and sends the ball to right field leaving room for the 2nd base runner to advance home. The Warriors set up for another run with a runner on 3rd and an overthrow pickoff from the catcher into the outfield moving Brylee Timms home to put the Warriors in the lead. 

The Bearcats continue their momentum as Kennedy Brooks hits an incredible triple to center field putting Brookland in scoring position with no outs on the board. Freshman Amiyah Currie takes a swing to advance the runner, tying the ball game and taking the first out of the inning for the Bearcats.

Nicole Flowers steps up for the first time of the game and puts herself on base with a hit to right center. Brooks comes in behind Flowers and gets a powerful hit out to left field for a double RBI advancing two runners home to claim the ball game confirming the Bearcats #1 spot in the 4A-3 conference.
