Barton Lady Bears star Da’Mya Wilson, a senior in the Class of 2026, made history in spectacular fashion, scoring 72 points in a single game to set a new Arkansas high school girls basketball scoring record.


Wilson’s performance shattered the previous record of 71 points, set back in 1979 by Angela Davenport, ending a 44-year-old mark that had stood the test of time. Her incredible night not only places her at the top of the state record books but also adds yet another milestone to an already stellar career with the Lady Bears.


Barton dominated from start to finish, defeating Lee County 94–21 in a lopsided contest that showcased Wilson’s scoring power and leadership on the court.
