Conway Christian is turning the page as the school prepares for its jump from 2A to 3A competition, announcing a new leader for its football program. Longtime head coach and athletic director Justin Kramer has stepped down, ending an eight-year run that reshaped the Eagles on and off the field.

Kramer arrived at Conway Christian in 2017 after four seasons at De Queen, where he finished with an 8–32 record from 2013 to 2016. Once he took over both the football program and the athletic department, the Eagles steadily climbed. Under his guidance, Conway Christian posted a 61–42 record, made multiple playoff appearances, and built the kind of foundation that allows the school to now move confidently into the 3A landscape.

With Kramer stepping away from the sidelines, the Eagles are handing the reins to Daniel Ellen, who has been named the new head football coach. Ellen takes over at a pivotal moment, inheriting a program with momentum and higher expectations as Conway Christian transitions into tougher competition.

The school thanked Kramer for his years of service and leadership, and the community is looking ahead with optimism as Ellen begins his tenure.
